Paris Humble is the founder of the Ecstatic DAncie movement and a lifelong student of the body’s natural intelligence.
For many years, Paris worked as a health consultant, supporting people who were navigating physical strain, emotional overwhelm, and long periods of stress. Through that work, she came to understand something simple and often overlooked: the body already knows how to regulate, release, and restore itself when it is given safety, movement, and permission.
Paris grew up close to unconventional thinking about health and healing as the daughter of Jim Humble, whose work challenged established systems and sparked global conversation. From an early age, she learned both the power and the responsibility that come with questioning norms. Rather than focusing on methods or debates, Paris chose a quieter path—one rooted in embodiment, presence, and lived experience.
Her approach to ecstatic dance is not about performance, spirituality, or emotional intensity. It is about listening. Listening to sensation. Listening to rhythm. Listening to what the nervous system is asking for in the moment. There are no steps to follow, no outcomes to achieve, and no way to do it “right.”
Paris creates spaces where movement is self-led, non-judgmental, and grounded in safety. In these spaces, people often rediscover something they didn’t realize they were missing: trust in their own bodies.
Her work speaks to those who are tired of forcing healing, tired of overthinking, and ready to reconnect with themselves in a way that feels honest and sustainable. Through movement, Paris invites a return to regulation, clarity, and ease—not by fixing the body, but by honoring it.
This work is simple by design.
The body moves.
The nervous system responds.
And balance finds its way back in.
